How do I defeat the boss from level 3 of Super Princess Peach for DS?

I can't beat the boss in Hoo's Woods the Boo King guy. What do I do?

before you enter each boss stage just hit the little yellow block and it gives you a hint about how to defeat the boss. Keep it up, the game is a pretty easy yet fun romp. O, and make sure that you find all of the toads in every stage because you cannot fight the final boss without collecting all of them.
