I believe in full disclosure. #1 or #2. If #2, then is it a gopher poking out or the entire Browns getting ready for a trip to the Super Bowl? Neither, then maybe the kids want to be dropped off at the pool. At any rate, seeing a man about a horse is vital information that MUST be shared at all costs.

No. We have a guy in the office that does it and it drives everyone and especially his cubicle neighbor, batty.
Just go. If you are expecting a call just say you'll be right back but for the love of everything good in this world, do not do it every single time you leave.
phew!
I am really not angry. Just having a little fun with this one :-D

It depends. I grew up in a house where this was expected of us because we had 6 people who shared one bathroom. That way, the person who truly needed it the most got to use it first.
So, it's still a habit of mine, because I live in a one-bathroom house with 4 people.

It depends on the situation. If I am in a close group and we are discussing something it is only proper for me to tell them where I am going and that I will be right back.

Not unless I'm in class where you have to ask to leave the room. Otherwise I just get up and go. It's nobody elses business where I am going or what I am doing.

it depends, if i am at the dinner table, I am not just going to get up and leave, because inevitably someone will ask anyway. but if i am in class or something, i don't whisper to the person next to me and let them know where i will be for the next few minutes, because that is weird.
