I have been invoiced by ebay and just can't get the answer to my question why it originates from Luxembourg,the last one was from Switzerland.And I am being charged an extra 15% vat and did not sell anything outside the UK.Can anybody please Explain Thanks

well that's interesting.. i've never checked where the invoice originated from but know if i've ever paid by cheque its sent to a uk address (citibank). unfortunately ebay has no contact details for queries they dont cover (unless i havent found it yet but believe me i've looked).
if you first registered to ebay in the uk then (hate to say) but it may be a phishing site cos i've had a few, although the latest version of explorer detected it.
it may be a concern but if your paymenys reach your account then maybe like the person above has said its because they are an interenational company
i would query the additional vat if your already paying uk vat as thats illegal. if you purchase from out of the uk they cant add vat either thats done by customs.

do not reply to emails or click on links from something that appears to be from ebay, or paypal.
Both companies recommend because of the amount of phishing to go into their websites to view the statements online.
