I wish to travel from Bangalore by road and my TTk map of Pondicherry does not show where i would be making my entry into Pondicherry...is it at SV Patel road?

Bangalore > Hosur > Krishnagiri > Thiruvanamalai > Tindivanam > Pondicherry.
When you enter Pondicherry through Tindivanam, you'll find a big board saying welcome to Pondicherry. You will cross through Mahatma Gandhi dental college and Jipmer.

You will be entering Pondy (now renamed Puduchery) along Tindivanam-Puduchery road near JIPMER.

tindivanam is 40km from pondy....
you will pass by JIPMER hospital(JIPMER road)
