Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a notable anti-semite, as were many Americans at that time, although he appointed Henry Morgenthau, Jr. (a Jew), as Secretary of the Treasury. Morgenthau proposed to execute half a million Germans if the allies won WW2. Roosevelt did not agree. He wanted that number reduced to just 500,000.
Were we really a modern civilized society?

Running for president is based on getting blocks of votes to vote for you. the bigger the potential voting bloc, the more they are catered to. It is possible to aleinate the pro Isreal bloc and still get elected but it is easier to have them onside and voting for you. Remember, in an election. Each vote is important because , if you don't get a certain vote, you are down 2 votes, 1 that you didn't get, and 1 that your oponent did get.

What is "pro israel"?
Would you rather have a president who is "anti-israel"?
Do you not think having an allie that close in the middle east is important?
