4m/5n^2 - n/2m
= (4m*2m - n*5n^2)/5*2*n^2*m
= (8m^2 - 5n^3)/10n^2m
= a.

This was done by finding a common denominator (10n^2m) and then simplifying both the numerator and denominator.
