Those that get angry probably have different reasons for the way they feel. Low self esteem may or may not be one of them.

I think alot of men who go outside the country to find women (mail order brides), arent really being honest with themselves. Alot of those relationships are successful, but many of them fail miserably, and that is because the man in question refuses to look at himself as the main reason why his relationships dont work out. He is so quick to blame all American women, yet when he goes outside the country he has the same problem. I think women get pissed off that some men would arrogantly think that they have nothing to do with the breakdown of a relationship. If they were such prizes than they would have no trouble getting along with their mail order brides. This has nothing to do with low self esteem.

Your question is very difficult to understand.
I'm an American woman who is with a foreign man. Why should I care what nationality anyone is? Who has low self esteem? The man who marries a foreigner, or the woman who gets angry at him?
I honestly don't understand what you're getting at.

Actually I (an American) went to a foreign country and married a foreigner, because I knew an American was not right for me. I didn't marry him because of low self-esteem; it was out of a conscious and a subconscious need and recognizing that need..

I don't think that ethnicity is really all that much of an issue and if it is there something wrong with the world. I think it'd be great to marry a foreignor. Theres nothing cuter than an accent!

People who know me would be really shock if I marry a american women. My family have even go as far as told me to not bring american women to meet them unless we've been in a serious relationship for a while.So no I guess they doesn't get angry.
Being a deaf guy, I probably would never marry a american women since they tend to treat others who they don't consider equal as a subhuman. In fact ever since I got home from eastern Europe, I've almost lose all my love for USA just because of how people treat me.
So I could imagine how many men who actually have a chance with american women feel. I don't blame them for being so fed up with american women of today.

I lived overseas for several years and dated someone from another culture. You can try to ignore other people all you want, but it takes a lot of strength. Most of the time I could pretend that people from her culture looked down on her while people from mine would look down on me. Not everybody was like this but it happened fairly often, and sometimes it really pissed me off. People can be judgmental pr**ks

not wanting to marry of 'your own kind' has nothing to do with self esteem and everything to do with self esteem...for a man or a woman

Why does it matter what others think. As long as your happy with your spouse. We all have our own little quirks. But what i think is an issue is people who take off with the kids and/or without paying child support. Then don't treat there kids right.

I think that American men are fed up with American women because of feminism and the like--so they look elsewhere.
Can't really blame them. Carl Friedan, Betty Friedan's husband, said that while he was a feminist, he advised against marrying one! What does that tell you?
