No. Their starting pitching, other than Carpenter, is a weakness, and one that they did not address in the off-season. Let us not forget that they were, after all, a barely over-.500 team that was in the playoffs because of their weak division. They simply got hot at the right time during last year's postseason.
It will be hard to expect that to happen again.

Goodness no. Considering pitching is the path to success in the post-season, and St. Louis downgraded its pitching over the winter, I don't see them winning a playoff series.
Of course, I don't think they'll make the playoffs, so the first point is almost moot.

It would be nice, but I don't think it will happen two years in a row. Even during Spring Training, they haven't been playing like a World Series winning team . . . nothing spectacular . . . just mediocre.
I haven't completely given up hope just yet though!!!

Every game Albert Pujols steps up to the plate, they have a good chance at winning.
I think (and hope) they will win it this year.
