Are you allowed to be on American Idol with a cd out already even?

Didn't know about it... but it definately doesn't surprise me. I always knew that Chris was a great musician - so seeing that he's already done something with his talent is no shock. I'm glad that he does have this album and songwriting competitions thing before AI... shows the world that he really is a great musician... not just in it for the fame.

I didn't know. I heard he had been in some band but didn't know they had a cd or anything. It bugs me that people who already have cd's are allowed to try out on Idol. Also it bugs me that they let people try out as many times as they want. They should let other people have a chance. My prediction is that Chris Sligh will come out maybe fifth or sixth. Go Blake Lewis!
