She really has the desire, and I think that's very good, but lacks coordination in her hands and gets very frustated. She is 8. Do you think that's too young?

I started learning when I was 8 too. I found it very frustrating because I wanted to be able to play tunes straight away without really learning all the chords. Its probably best if you limit lessons to 30mins of so. That way you will be able to maintain her concentration better. I got there eventually

At that age, don't try to teach her the guitar. Just let her familiarize herself with the instrument. Buy her a cheapo toy guitar, and see what she does with it. Let her run her fingers up and down, let her make weird noises with it, etc. Then show her a thing or two every once a while to keep her interested.

No its not. I saw a video for a 4 year old kid playing guitar like a professional... So it depends on you kid, if she likes to play she will...

If she wants to do it, get a guitar into her hands immediately.

When she can learn faster n understand easier so dat she wont be angry or frustrated when she got it wrong...maybe wait 4 a few more months...
