It depends on what you sell, where and your business. I found it very easy to set up my business and the red tape stuff is that hard when you know what your doing. The best advice is free so if you get stuck ask a member of your family or friend who has a good idea or background in book keeping and government papers.

When operating your own business, you are going to find expected barriers, a lot of work involved getting it on the road and going, lots of red tape and barriers you didn't think of before starting.
Also a lot of work and time involved - you will find that you will live and breathe work, 24/7
But if you persevere and our willing to sacrifice then you just might make it. But give it a lot of thought before going into it - do lots of research into it first before you rush into it.

For an internet Marketer...the hardest part was the difference with keeping up on trends and just plain getting distracted. The Key for me was to follow the advice of someone who not only made it to where I want to be but was generous with his/her knowledge before asking for investment. Action is the cure for most problems but research is the immunization.

I knew it would be a mountain of paperwork and it proved to be true but the end result was worth it. My advice is to fill your paperwork out one step at a time and submit it when it is totally finished.
Also, keep copies of everything.

All of the above and more. It is very difficult at the beginning, lot of pressure and information to take in long hours it controls all your time, but eventually when you get on top of everything it does become easier, and flows better. giving you time to yourself.

The worst part was disposing of the bodies. It's not as easy as you'd think!
