I was the same hun. I only started to show at about 32 weeks, bought one pair of maternity pants but didn't need them as I could still wear my regular jeans and I carried to 41 weeks!
The week before my daughter was born I met another pregnant woman on the street, I told her I was pregnant too, she looked at me and said 'I'll be further on than you, when is yours due?' I told her in two days! She didn't believe me...she was only 19 weeks along and had a big baby bump!

I keep on bumping into people with my baby and they don't believe she's mine, and they'd seen me two weeks before her birth and didn't know I was expecting!

I know what you mean about feeling disappointed, you could only tell I had the bump when I laid down and then it protruded. It was disappointing.... I hardly felt pregnant then when my daughter was born it was hard to connect her with being inside me if you know what I mean!

Plus when she was being born I had no bump to mar my view, I was on the bedroom floor at home when I had her and I could see everything....! I thought my bits were going to explode!

I remember the midwife once checked if my ankles were swollen... and complimented me on being able shave my legs LOL! I took my sock off and showed her where I'd painted my toenails....I was 40 weeks pregnant! I could still touch my toe to my nose!!

It's a strange thing to be so pregnant and for people not to be able to tell - it's also very uncomfortable! All along I was told to expect a small baby but I knew she wasn't small - I could feel her in there! Like I said to everyone - she's still in there taking up space whether she sticks out or not! In fact she takes up MORE space that should be mine!!

I'm not a big person either - size 8-10 and 5'7. My daughter weighed 7lb 4.5oz and was perfectly healthy!

Congratulations on your little boy, and try not to feel too disappointed with how you looked! People talk about getting back in their pre-pregnancy jeans. I say I don't need to get back in them, I was never out of them!!!!

Our next ones will probably show earlier so we might get the chance to have big ol' bumps!!!

Enjoy your little man!

My bump was pretty big and by the time I was 8 months I was waddling like a duck, and unable to get up without assistance. But I can understand that you must have been a bit disappointed not having a good old big bump in front. I felt so joyous during my pregnancy I wanted everyone to know. : )

My son was 5lbs 3 1/2 ozs. But he surely took up a lot of room in my tummy.

Are you thinking of having more children? Every pregnancy is different, so you could have a huge bump the next time round. : )

Because I am overweight I don't look as pregnant as I would like. I see other women with nice rounded bumps and although my tummy is rounder than before I fell I can't help but feel a bit jealous of them.

I've got about 6 weeks to go so there's still time to get a bit more of a baby bump going on.

Hi i had my first born 5lb 4.5oz. You could barely tell i was pregnant and i hated it not haing the big bump cos i felt like i missed the heavily pregnant thing. Your son was small, my daughter was small having stopped growing at 29 weeks but was a great weight for her size.
Now three years on im 15 weeks pregnant with my second and i am sure im bigger now than i was when i was full term with my daughter! you get bigger each time so im told! i look around 6months pregnant now and im not even 4 months but i wish i had that small little secret cos carrying the bump isnt that great!!

Hi this is my first and when i went for both my scans i was upset because all the other mums looked massive but when i went for my second i thought the same but the sonographer thought it was my first scan and it was my second but then i lifted up my top and she was shocked! every one keeps telling me im huge and that my boy is gonna be a chubby baby! i am 28 wks now and i keep gettin stuck in the bath i find it hard to move. so i would not say i would love to have a small bump but just not to have such a big 1 but oh well! good luck :)

Oh I loved my bump and showed it off in every way I could. Wearing mat dress as early as two months, putting my hand onthe top of my bump. I was big with both pregnancies.
At eight months I walked along bump going first - as if I had the crown jewels on my bump, which both turned out to be two wonderful sons!.

Especially b/c my baby shower is this weekend and I barely look pregnant! I just feel FAT! Thus far I have gained 25lbs, but I don't know where i'm packing it! i felt exactly the same as you! my baby was born four weeks early only weighing 4ib 11 ounces. he is now 10 months old and growing well every day. i am now 26 weeks pregnant and feel absolutely huge compared to last time. i am struggling to find anything that fits and am constatly moaning that i look fat!if you decide to have another baby be reassured you wont be dissapointed :)
