I have been in both situations and I like doing something I like to do and being happy. Because doing something I like not only makes me happy, but feeling physically and mentally better. Money can't buy you good health. I know I have seen people with money who are in bad health and all their wealth can't help them get any better.

Being paid less and enjoying what you do for 8 (or 10, or 12) hours per day is much more satisfying than being paid well and hating every minute. Ask most prostitutes and they would probably agree.....selling yourself in any manner isn't too savory.
