Yes, absolutely. Sending a thank you letter for your interview does not indicate any obligation to accept a job offer if one is given. It is the polite thing to do to acknowledge the time taken out of the interviewer's day to speak with you.
In my job, I schedule, set up and see the outcome of many interviews. I know that a thank you afterward has probably never made an unlikely candidate get a job offer, but it certainly never hurts. And it can help ther interviewer and company remember you more clearly and positively, in the event that you decide you do want the job -- or want a difference position there in the future.

YES!!! You might get a good offer and want to take the job after all. Plus, you may run into the same interviewer at another company some day, and if you do not send a Thank you, you may never even get an interview at that person's new company.

Interview etiquette says "yes", send a "thank-you". It is a compliment that they picked you out of many candidates and took the time to interview you for this position. You may not want this particular job, but you never know what other jobs may become available at this business, or what connections people at this business have with other people in the industry.
