El Macca (Steve McManaman) is a fantastic book, although not strictly an autobiography. It covers the 4 years he was at Real Madrid, 2 years before the Galacticos and 2 years after. Even though Real Madrid were still good at the end of his time there, you could see how things wouldn't last once certain players were guaranteed a 1st team place

I am still reading David Beckham's most recent autobiography. I thought it would be interesting to get a glimpse into the life of such a big celebrity and player. It is actually not bad so far.

The two best I have read are. Left foot forward by Gary Nelson. About the struggles of an average footballer towards the end of his career. I would also recommend Steve Mcmanamans A very good read.

It's not a footballers one but Frank Skinner by Frank Skinner really does sum up the feelings experienced by football fans all over the world. Plus it is very funny
