guys, what are the consequences if you just change your cell phone carrier when you're still under a contract and ignore the $200 contract breath fee? will you get reported to credit union?

Yes, if that termination fee (along with all of your usage fees up until that termination point) is not paid, you will be reported to a credit union, and it will NOT help you if you have that on your credit because it will allow other cell phone companies (if you try getting a phone elsewhere) to most likely ask for a big deposit. So, DO NOT ruin your credit. You definitely do NOT want to do that. It's so easy to ruin your credit, but takes YEARS to build it back up.
