Some great answers here... everyone seems to know exactly what your dream means.... sorry, I am not in that knowledgeable category..... in fact I believe that unless one knows more about the person, it is not possible to decode the dream symbols because they have a lot to do with the experience and thoughts process of the past.... the same symbol would mean different things in different persons' dreams depending on their different past experiences, culture and situation in life. Above all I think dreams can be very strange for imaginative type of people and even they themselves can not decode the unusual sights of the dreams.
If I were to make a wild guess, it just looks like you are a bit too worried about something relating to your family and feeling a little helpless in tackling the specific problem. Just a wild wild guess!

Kylie, just so you know, coming from a former psychology student, there are no definitive, proven dream theories. While I personally believe that dreams can have great meaning, there are multiple schools of thought and often interpretations can be deceivingly vague. It is rare to me to see a dream interpretation far more accurate than a horoscope or a personality test. All are flawed and lack scientific credibility. One theory is that dreams are a manifestation of the subconscious mind working out problems, while another argues that they're the result of random synapses shooting off in the brain during the REM stage of sleep. To interpret this dream, a psychologist would want to talk in more detail about your recent experiences and particular life circumstances. That can help clarify meaning. Sometimes, people know what their dreams mean and yet refuse to accept the truth. Look inside yourself, not at generic symbolism.

I suspect that you are probably more conscious of the fact that you and your other family members are now more sensitively aware of how family relationships have changed. There could be a number of reasons - age, educational (ie graduating from one level of education to another, graduating from high school, going to college, etc.), marital status, etc.

I also suspect that you and other members of your family are experiencing feelings of hostility, extreme pridefulness, and aggression . It may also reflect an uncontrollable force or situation in your life that is driving this in you (again, see above explanation), But, the fact that you are dreaming about it suggests, though, that you really are aware of these feelings,in yourself and in your family members, and that you know that you and/or your family members are becoming more aggressive in displaying those feelings outwardly. Evdently you feel that you and your family members already sense that certain aspect of these things in your life will need to be overcome.

The good news is that the dream may be offering you a solution on how to go about approaching those problems in your waking life. The fact that you are including your family in your dream signifies that they are pretty much going through the same problems themselves with these issues! Everyone, not just you, may be having some self doubts or trouble in making some decisions, which is completely a natural reaction because certain life events that occur to us causes us to tread in unchartered, unfamiliar territories and we are unsure what to do, etc.

Another thing - your dream may also be a signal for you and your family members to take a new perspective on the situation. It shows an indication that you and/or your family members may be unwilling to confront some painful and disturbing aspects. There is some potentially destructive emotion (pridefulness, I suspect) that you and your family are refusing to acknowledge and own up to, which is clouding judgment and is causing troubles for you and for your family. Be careful because there are aspects pointing to treachery, deceit, and hidden instincts.

Just be aware that you and your family members will need to give serious attention to time outs, to consider and rethink the consequences before acting on choices and reactions. Think, process, and then react! Stay focused on the end results and sacrifice some pridefulness if it will help get you to the end results faster!

Again, THINK, PROCESS, AND THEN REACT, FOR THE PURPOSE OF GETTING TO YOUR END RESULT FASTER!

You might be facing hard challenges or going to be in the near future. Problems might involve your family. Look up a dream book on Google, then order it. My friend did that and
she uses the book all the time, it really helps. I don't remember the name exactly, though.

you feel that your homelife is a struggle, you and your family may be competing for dominance, and you act as wild animals to each other.

it means, calm down, life is not a race, you will have a better time living it together, than against each other.

or, you and your family are close, and you are helping eachother through a tough world, and you realize the dangers, so you must help them through
