What is it? When I was that age I liked people like Patrick Swayze, Tom Wopat, George Peppard, Tom Cruise, Cary Grant even (old movie fan)-guys who looked like men, who were masculine. What do young girls see in Sanjaya? He looks so feminine.

Tweens and teens are often hot for boys who are gay or effeminate. The are nonthreatening. They look like they might hold your hand or give you sweet kisses or listen to your long boring conversations. Or take you to the MALL!
Aa an adult woman with a touch of the faghag, I get it.
However, I personally prefer a man who looks like he's strong enough and agressive enough to make me shriek my brains out all night long. Once these girls grow up into womanhood, they usually do too.

I think Bombadil has the right answer. Check out the very young David Cassidy or Davy Jones. They all have that touch of "girlie prettiness" that we used to scream over when we were tweens. I guess it hasn't changed.
