Which other models have common engine to Honda FT 500?

Am trying to find ignition "pulse generator" unit for Honda FT 500 but not that many about these days anything else that I can use from like engine type or other bike ( someone has told my that CB 250 RS has the same pulse unit?)

The cb 250 rs ignition pick up or pulse generator is identical to the one on the ft 500, the xl 500, and japanese import xl 400 and ft 400 are also the same.

The FT500 lump was actually derived from the XR/XL500 dirt bikes, so if you can find one of those, that may help.

I don't know about that stuff but what i do know is some have smaller engines then others and another thing is that i'm getting one so i can let you know about it than sorry i don't know much about the hondas and they have cheap gas and they 're small depending on the one that you have choosen.
