It doesn't affect the eggs per say. It makes your ovaries "go dormant" to an extent that they don't release an egg while you are on the birth control pill.

I dont think it can make your eggs go dormant, but birth control can take a while to get out of some women's systems. So if you have just recently come off the pill, it may take up to a few months for your body to be completely rid of it and for you to get pregnant.

I do not understand 'dormit' .
Best you talk to a good Gyne. Doc.
All these things depends on the person's problem. Best to avoid what nature does not provide. They can harm you too. But if a Doc prescribes for a reason. it is different.

No. It encourages the woman's eggs to be active once she is off the pill. That is why women are placed on the pill to help with irregularity temporarily. When they are taken off of the pill after a few months, their periods are supposed to be regular. Most are, unless they have a hormonal problem or PCOS. With hormonal problems or PCOS they are already dormant because the woman does not ovulate and they need a different medication to make them regular and fertile.

birth control has hormones that trick the womans body into thinking it's pregnant so that it doesn't release any eggs.
