Hi, I have a HP Pavilion DV5130CA Laptop and every couple of inches my mouse moves it stops and wont star moving until after like 2 minutes. What is causing this? How can I fix it? Thanks in advance,

Sounds like you may have a bad mouse to me, or your computer is glitched up with spyware...

If only your mouse does it, try using a different mouse.

Also check HP for driver updates and fixes, occasionally they have updates that fix the issue for you...

Here is a link for your mouse driver update, try downloading this and installing it, see if it does the trick.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp33501-34000/sp33751.exe

The above file is for your Computer, assuming you use WINDOWS XP...

If you do NOT USE windows XP then do not install it, instead go to this link and get the correct dirvers for your windows.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=1845494&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

If the above link does not work, then go to http://www.hp.com
and click SUPPORT AND DRIVER DOWNLOADS
Basically find your product on here, and update the drivers.

Also do WINDOWS UPDATE.

Suggest you go to the Control Panel, open "Mouse," and carefully (underline carefully) check out all the options.

If this doesn't do it, try Control Panel, Accessibility. Again, very carefully check all options.
