I just read a pretty good one--Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. He's Stephen King's son. I couldn't put the book down. It's about a heavy metal rock and roll guy who buys a ghost on the internet--the ghost turns out to be a vindictive one who is seeking revenge on the main character, and most of the book is about the main guy and his girlfriend on the run and trying to figure out how to beat the ghost. I read the whole book in about a day!

I LOVE David Lindsay's books. Mercy was made into a movie. I am also from Houston and a lot of his books are staged there and I know every nook and cranny he speaks of, so that's fun and cool. I just read one recently that didn't take place in Houston, but in the "hill country" west of Austin. That was a great one too. I don't like horror, but he does keep it sometimes graphic so you get the sense of what's being done...
