Alexis, you must be relatively young. Without a doubt most men are hornier then women. Just check out how many pornographic websites out there cater to men so they can spank their monkey. Now check out how many pornographic websites are out there to cater to women so they can play their slot machine. It is unfortunate but that is the way it is and always has been too. Men are more visual -- they need to see something-- look at how well Playboy sells versus how well Playgirl sells. Women are more thinkers -- they can fantasize or read Harlequin romances and get excited that way.
Men do not have better control over it either since like above women can read a racy novel and then do not always feel the need to go and play the slots. Men see a hot pictorial in a 'men's magazine' and find out how long it takes him to be spanking the monkey.
In general men are hornier then women and as far as who has more control over it -- that one is hard to say, go back and watch the Seinfeld episode all about being master of your domain where they all placed a bet to see who could stay abstinent or control themselves the longest. Even Elaine gave in after she fantasized about John-John.

Well, Alexis, you certainly have your thoughts in overdrive and it's great you are inquisitive for learning.
As for which sex is the most horny, the one and only answer is "neither"simply because being horny depends on so many things about our minds and our bodies that create the horny feelings in the first place.
Regarding which sex has better control of their urges, it certainly is the female sex. The reasoning and truth is simply because males produce a much greater amount of estrogen and hormones than do females...as much as 17 times more.
This does vary amongst males but the extreme difference of this between males and female does exist in normal people.
Even with a great amount of exercise and involvement with active sports, males seldom burn off all their hormones in a single day and, alas, while they sleep at night the little buggas replenish themselves all over again !
If girls think guys "only" want sex, they are wrong. However, if girls think guys "always" want sex, they are right and now you know the reason why...it's inherent to the male reproductive system.
Unfortunately, it cannot be as easily controlled as most males would like and it can be very embarassing at the most inappropriate times.
Females have better control !!!

Totally situationally dependent. I'm more horny than my boyfriend, but that hasn't been the case in every relationship I've had. Everyone has a different sex drive.
Also, people who exhibit strong self control have the most control. It can't be broken down by gender.

I think females are just as horny as men.... we just have better control over who we sleep with and how many different people we sleep with.
