Work on your spelling before you get that high paying job. It's sophomore, not softmore.

That is 190,000 dollars a year. There are few professions that have an average salary that falls around there. Those that do have salaries like that require a good amount of education/training, and are not entry level positions.

Lawyers, professional athletes, CEOs, doctors, actors. Across the board, a very very small percentage of the total number of people working in the professions actually make the top salaries.

You may want to do some real research on the feasibility of your scenario. It is great if you want to help support your parents, but you may need to come up with more realistic ways to do that.

Hi, personally, I think that S$4,000/mth job sounds a bit far-fetched, no offence.
Even managers or those who work in high-post positions work very hard to earn that much.
If anyone can earn a good deal of S$4,000/mth, I guess no one's gonna strive hard in life anymore.
Its not that easy. =)
If you are really keen, why not take up a temp. job instead? Although the pay is way below your target, but hey, at least you are earning it! and thats the first starting point~!
Study hard in College, you can always repay your parents after your studies. Your filial piety will definitely pay off. I am sure they will understand. =)

You are already a good child by bearing this thought in your mind. So, work hard and don't disappoint your parents, ya?
I bet you can earn much more than your target if you study hard enough. =)
