What a wonderful thought and question!
I was raised Catholic, and as such, I was somehow instilled with a notion of how 'lucky' I was...to be fortunate enough to be Catholic! Such a ridiculous thing! I realize now that I was really held back by that...so involved was I in that one faith that I didn't look around and see what other religions believed and thought.
Today, I consider myself a Christian, and am always interested in learning about the faiths and teachings of others. And I would be most drawn to a Church that respected the beliefs of others. What a novel concept!!!!

Depends on how you define respect. The Catholic Church respects other religions, and will openly discuss differences in the attempt to convert, and has a definite view of what God says is right and wrong. It does not condemn others and does not believe in forcing others to follow their decrees. Islam on the other hand is showing more and more signs of wanting to impose their belief on the rest of us.

The problem is that each person's definition of respect may be different. In fact, a lot of churches work together, especially in small communities.
Our first priority is to God himself, not to other Gods, so if you are asking that we are respectful of a person's choice, that's one thing. If you are asking us to embrace all religions equally, that is something very different.

Naturally, one of the most important things in almost every religion is respect for all other life, beliefs as well as acknowledgment of judgment is for God only.

for people who check out church homes, sure. i will inform you that I attended one church provider (won't call the denomination, on account that i comprehend they are actually not ALL like that,) the place the preacher started the sermon off with some jokes approximately Catholics and Mormons and then proceeded to let us know how each physique else replaced into headed to hell. for the duration of that entire hour, I in basic terms heard Jesus and God reported in connection with how plenty they hated the sinners.

I am not so sure. 'Respect' is one of those words that varies in great degree in meaning.
I respect people's right to their belief. But I think they are going to hell if they have not been saved by the Blood of Christ. I am a Christian, that is my belief. If they ask me, I would tell them, but I still respect them.
I am not being judgmental, God is.

The point of asking a question is to allow others to answer it, not to post your own conclusions with it.
Thanks for the 2 pts, though

yes, if you believe in the dogma of all Christian/Muslim religions... then you should look for one that follows it.
One thing out of Europe I can say I wish we would implement her is that their students are required to learn about ALL religions in school.
