At first I thought she was crying bc she was falling for Sanjaya but then later she was still crying during another performance. What do you think about this? Think she was still so excited he hugged her or maybe she has a disorder and its a normal thing for her to cry?

I think we should all cry because Sanjaya killed a perfectly good rock song.

She may have been crying even before Sanjaya appeared but was not picked up by the camera man.
I think she was just quite overwhelmed by the whole experience of see American Idol live.

Yeah that was a little wierd, maybe she was star struck. She looked to be 12 or 13 years old; maybe the music was just getting to her or she was going through something. I couldn't quite figure it out. I have to say though Sanjaya really suprised me with his performance. It was really different from what America is use to seeing from him. He did an awesome job!

I think that at first she was just so excited bc she's a Sanjaya fan, but then he turned around and hugged her and that just really made her even more emotional. She's probably dreaming about him now.... : ) That's just my opinion, It is a possability of being a disorder.

I think it was out of excitement. Or, she started crying because Sanjaya was so bad ;)

Teenagers used to cry while watching the Beatles in the sixties. I think it's a mixture of excitement, infatuation, and just being carried along with the emotions of the audience.

Maybe she cried on the state of american culture and how instant celebrities are more known than events that happen in other countries...
Or she was over-exited about being on TV in a show she loves...
I hope it was the former, but there is not that much chance that was it.

I think that Michael Jackson hindu harry freak scared the crap out of her. I was on the verge of tears every time I saw that one-man freak show. He belongs in a carnival booth next to the half man/half woman thing and the three legged bear.

someone else asked this question and its the same answer, she is a nut case, i would have cried when sanjaya was performing, but cuz he sucks so bad words can't describe.

I think the sweet child was just overwhelmed by the "grandness" of it all... that's a pretty exciting thing for a young girl.
