Crescent is for "new moon". What single word name is there for "full moon", that is the moon of two weeks? Similarly what do they call to "1 weeks moon" and "three weeks moon". Is there any particular name for a moon between three and four weeks? or this too is a crescent?
I am particularly interested in a single word name for "two weeks moon", either from literary english, or from astrology, or astronomy; or any englisized language (say greek, latin etc.)

New moon usually refers to what is probably better named the "Dark Moon". This is when the side of the moon facing us is completely unlit by the sun, and we cannot see it.

Sometimes, the day-or-so old moon, the very slim crescent, is called a new moon because it is the first visible phase of a particular lunation (it is "new"). It's somewhat ambiguous. Anyway...

New (Dark) Moon -> Waxing Crescent -> 1st Quarter -> Waxing Gibbous -> Full Moon -> Waning Gibbous -> 3rd Quarter -> Waning Crescent -> New (Dark) Moon

Crescent is for when we see a crescent shape in the sky - which appears during the few days before and after a new moon.

Following a new moon, the moon begins its waxing period - where it slowly changes from nothing to a crescent and then to half-moon, or 1st quarter.

It continues waxing and eventually becomes a full moon. If you must have a one-word name for this - I would use either 'full', 'complete', or - heh - 'waxed'.

The moon then begins to wane in the sky, changing slowly from a full moon to another half-moon (though we see the OTHER half lit up now). This is also known as the 3rd or last quarter.

The moon continues to wane, as it forms another crescent, and eventually disappears altogether (except during the day) and it is a new moon. if you want another word for this - I'd suggest 'new', 'invisible', or - heh - 'waned'.

Crescent is not a new moon. A new moon is not visible. I have never heard of a one work name for a full moon. Try here
