Let's see... in the shower, I tend to end up not being able to get to the roots of my long hair very easilly, and end up with a powdery soap scum on my skin like the shower walls.

With a bath, I can actually get my hair clean, and don't end up leaving that powdery soap scum on the black clothing afterward!!

I prefer a bath, but that doesn't mean people with short hair can't take a shower & feel clean... but, good luck washing your back! I can wash my own all over (double jointed!)! Make sure you buy a scrub brush on a stick to scrub your back, or that place will NEVER get clean any which way you choose, unless you always shower with a friend!

Washing up in the tub is more cleaner but longer. The shower is much faster and is also clean but through the shower you can miss spots.

Shower gets you cleaner, as with a bath you are literally soaking in your own dirt, shower water just goes down the drain. Good Luck !

Hands down a shower gets you cleaner. All the dirt, soap etc. runs off you and down the drain. In the tub, you just sit and soak in all the grime...yuk! Just think of the bathtub ring that's left when you get out...that same residue is left on your body.

I like a shower I feel that the dirt I am washing off, is getting rinsed at the same time. But there are occasions when I enjoy a nice bubble bath, just to relax, so after I clean myself I end it by taking a shower.

Definitely the shower. With a tub you're sitting/soaking in your own funk that you scrub or rub off of you.

With a shower the funk is immediately washed off of you and down the drain.
