Recently i have seen many dyed dogs on televison series, and i was just wondering if its a special dog dye or can you just dye your pet with regualr hair dye that humans use?

If you go to a local groomers they can dye your dog almost any SAFE color, pink, green, blue-- that washes out with soap and water... However you CANNOT, CAN.NOT use human dye on a pet, their skin is very sensitive and they have different PH levels then we do-- It would make your poor pet so sick!

Please ask a vet. I haven't seen it on tv, but I did see a guy walking his little terrier on St. Paddy's day. Guess which one was green with brown spots and wagging his tail. Both were wearing a smile!! Food coloring might work, but I'd still ask a vet....and my dog's color preference.
