My father cosigned my student loan and the check just came in and he signed it and than he went to his business trip. I call some banks most of them require my father present at the bank in order for me to deposit this check into my bank account. Does anyone know any other way around this? He has already endorse it to me. And I have paperwork that verifly he is the cosigner and I am his son.

The bank is giving you the run-around. You have your ducks in a row, so press the issue (you may have to get nasty with them). They will likely back down and deposit the check.

well, if he endorse the ck, to you, procedures are you should
deposit the ck, t'il is clear by the bank and also, you can open an acct. at your father bank, that already know your dad an open acct. with the ck., the bank should have signature card of your father, and other information. remember not all the bank work the same. policy/proc. are different. sometimes when a ck is to be signed by two parties, john doe and john doe jr. both required to sign in presence of bank official or
tellers, best for you, to close that acct. at your bank and go to
your father's bank and explain to them. also, you can call
your father at his cell. from the bank who is giving you the service;. good luck.

Most any bank would take the deposit and put a hold on it (5 days) until it clears.
If not, put it in his account and let him write the check to you or transfer funds to you.
Just go to the bank and try to deposit it.

Go through the drive through at the bank. Put the check, a deposit slip, your ID, and the paper work in the tube and send it in. They should just do it.
