it all depends what kind of music you like..if you like decent dance music ( house/progressive/breakbeat) then tripod is probably the best, or most well known anyway (harcourt street ) also spirit ( abbey street) ,then you have all the run of the mill disco's, like...Buskers, boomerangs, club M ( all temple bar) but can be a bit hectic, most clubs will have a particular resident or guest DJ on most nights, so crowds will naturally follow the big name dj's, so the best bet is to check out the dublin event guide ( available in all record shops).. be aware though, a lot of clubs tend to be drug havens, so if that's not your cup of tea, there are plenty of bars that stay open late and have good music playing all night ( especially weekends) Pravda, Zanzibar, K3, ( all around , liffey street/ha'penny bridge)

anyway just be careful wherever you go, Dublin can be dangerous at the best of times, don't hang around the streets too long, keep moving if possible and stay away from back streets if you can..enjoy!!

try buskers bar and boomerangs niteclub. fitzsimons is a good disco bar with a nightclub. also break for the border. If you don't want to be in the city there is good nightclubds on the outskirts: barcode, trampco, bodi beach. just depends what your looking for.
