We set ourselves up for it when we first helped the Muhajadin fight against the old Soviet Union back in the 70's and 80's. We helped train Osama bin Laden and others and supplied them with all kinds of goodies. Then when Reagan, Bush Sr. and Ollie North got caught selling arms to Iran to use against Iraq, Ollie North told the U S Senate subcommittee that they were doing it to have Muslims kill Muslims. What would you expect the reaction would be? We have stuck our noses into the middle-eastern problems since the end of WWII like supporting a dictator that was the "Shah" of Iran.

9/11 was a payback in the minds of the same people we trained, for years of meddling in their affairs.

1. Insurance money.

The owner or leasor of the buildings said it as much when he was on PBS. He said ". . . We decided to pull the building . . "

Meaning that they had already had the explosive charges in place - all they had to do is throw the switch. He got double indemnity for the buildings as a separate act of terrorism. Was it $7 billion? I imagine he got it in Euros.

This explains, by the way - for those of you who have already dismissed this as an answer - why the firefighters were so amazed by the damage on the first floor when they entered. The words they used I believe were . . . "it looked as if a bomb had gone off in the basement . . . ".

Of course it also explains the "rat a tat a tatting" that the firemen heard shortly after they radioed that they would shortly have the fire contained. The radio transmissions took a "Freedom of Information Act" mandate to get out of the Federal Government because the transmissions were all conviscated. Only recently have these surfaced! (how long ago was 9/11? This is 2007 folks)

2. An experiment by those who were conducting it as to how the US people would react to the "attack". This has a 3 fold purpose.

i) to gauge how much the reaction would be by the American people to hold their government responsible for letting the attacks happen in the first place.

Was anyone's feet held to the fire on this? Why not? Wouldn't you think that, at least, the Pentagon would be protected from any attack? This should have happened but why didn't it? Obviously, if there was a patsy then said patsy would request an investigation into why he was being singled out. That coud prove embarressing.

ii) To gauge the gullibility or naivette of the people on a large mass scale. Do Americans still believe against a wealth of evidence that the government is reliable in these matters? If not then agression will have to be scaled back but if so - full steam ahead - maybe a suitcase nuke at the right time next time eh?

iii) To quickly pass legislations like the Patriot Act so that they can see how far the American Public will forsake their rights to have their government "protect" them (you remember all the protection that they endeared you with on 9/11 don't you suckers?). The 4th Ammendment is basically repealed without a vote.

Of course the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq would not have happened without 9/11. Afghanistan because over the border via a narrow strip of land that is soon to become very valuable is . . . China.

These experiments will be on an ongoing basis for those who are curious. Each one will escalate and notice please that you'll see things and hears some things only once - on that day and then the Major News Networks will goosestep in line like they did in the days following 9/11.

It happened because a group of fanatics wanted to make a very big statement and kill the infidels Unfortunately, as in all major incidents, some appear, or crawl out from under stones, and try to make a conspiracy of it. They do this without any concern for those suffering loss. Even when the event is closed, finished and the scientific evidence has proved what happened they claim it is a whitewash and continue to cause suffering to those who are trying to recover from a devastating blow and get on with their lives. And then, as well as everything else, they have to deal with the past being dragged up over and over to satisfy someone's paranoia.

If the attack was by Osama's men, then the attacks took place in order to put fear in America and to have a huge impact on its economy. This is due to anger from America's previous actions.

Both Arabs and Jewish people were promised land in the Middle East for cooperating in World War II. However, the Jewish ended up getting Israel while the Palestinians got no land at all. The Palestinians are now an angry group of people who need their own country as promised by the US. They feel supressed by the Israeli military and Israel kicked millions of them out of the country making them refugees. Thus, they are taking their anger out on the West. However, the war on Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11 as Saddam had nothing to do with the attack... this was just Bush's way of getting revenge as his father was also at war with Saddam.

911 was actually the result of over 60 years of Failed Republican foreign policy in the Mid East which festered like a pimple waiting to burst!

It all started when the Republicans placed a SHAH in power in Iran contrary to the will of the people there, only to be deposed forcibly by the clerics!

Then the Republicans provided Osama Bin Laden with weapons, money, etc to ward off the Russians in Afghanistan.
The rest it history as far as Osama is concerned!

The Republicans again provided Iran with weapons, etc and even provided Iraq with WMDs to fight its war against Iran including the poisonous gas which Saddam Hussein used on the Iranians, Kurds, and his own people.

These things only fanned the fires against America and we became the worlds Great Satan - because of this and because our ways of Making porn movies and sending them all around the world and into Islamic country's degraded us as well as them, and the Islamic peoples there became further disgusted with us. Our high Divorce rate and drinking alcohol didn't help matters at all!

And contrary to Bush - They do not hate us for our Freedom!

They hate us for our Lifestyle which is diametrically opposed to theirs and which they find vile and disgusting!

The fact that we are the worlds greatest supplier of Arms and Weapons of Death all contributed to the end result of them bringing down the Towers on 911. -

We asked for it - and they gave it to us!
