I just planted some herbs (cilantro, oregano, thyme, lavender) in an indoor pot. The lady at the nursery said lots of sun and somewhat dry soil. How often should I water them? Plus they only get sun about 4 hours/day. Is that enough?

Supplement the light with grow lights if possible or move your pot outside once the weather has warmed. Your plants may get a little spindley if you don't. Water when the soil is dry to the tough about an inch deep.

They need more sun than that. If you can't get it, consider getting grow-lights to suppliment the sunshine.

Good luck!

water them only once aweek, and don't overflow the pot.
