Are women just more physically attractive than men?

I am a straight female, definitely no question there. And yet i could list about 20 female celebs that i find seriously attractive (though, i wouldn't want to sleep with them, or even meet them, particularly). I would struggle to find even 10 male stars that i would describe as physically attractive. Why is this? Is it something to do with women's fascination with each other's looks? Or maybe it is just that if men got to wear make-up too they would be equally good-looking. Weird!

I think it's because women can enhance their attractiveness with make-up, hairstyles and accessories, men have to make do with what God gave them. There are some really plain looking women, who after putting on a ton of make up, can look totally stunning. There are naturally beautiful women, but most of us have to have a helping hand!!!

Nah, it's not weird. Celebs have lots of stylists keeping them looking good. If you have ever watched Tyra Show, you would see her at her worst, just like every other homie, just taller than most.
I see her in a whole new light. She is trying to teach infatuated people that celebs are just the girl next door.
Now that I have seen her at her very worst, not so enticing anymore. But this is something I have known since the days of Dallas. So I am smarter than most, and would never find someone more attractive by the excess makeup, big hair etc.
I think Wynona Ryder and Johnny Depp are the most real celebs I have watched. Nothing making them look better than they really do. So pay attention and realize celebs pay a lot of money to look like stars, I know of many girls in my area that have the potential to be just like them. But they choose to be who they are, normal. So you are not weird just fascinated.

First of all, I am in love with the female form. In all shapes and sizes. Thats what I like the most. The diversity of the female form. Personally, I like bigger women. Anna Nichole Smith was one of my favorites. Bigggg girl,but very feminine. Now ,dont get me wrong. I know she had her problems, as we all do. But, there was just something about her that drove me crazy. Some of the world saw the same as me. There will never be another. Alas, I must choose someone new to fall in love with. what comes to mind is Angalina Jolie. She has classic beauty. Ashly Judd. Nichole Kidmen. Classic and classy! Cant say too much more. Hope you get the point.

That's a good one. there are better looking women then men on TV and I think its nice that women can say that plutonically where as straight men wouldn't say another man was gorgeous lol.

But then, I never found Lilly savage or Elton John attractive

I think women were purposely designed by nature to be fascinating and alluring to both sexes, you cant draw a comparison between the male and female of our species.

In my opinion it is just about art, the body is a piece of art, and I am a woman too, who thinks female bodies are just that, art. Nothing off the cuff with me, I adore Men only in that sense but at first glance women's bodies are just more appealing to the eye. A mans allure is more hidden , but oh so great to take the time to explore...

I certainly think so.

Even without make up and whatever, 'in general' women win hands down. Curves make men go crazy! Us men tend to be hairy, angular, clumsy, big looking things in comparison (again, generally speaking).

women are stunted, narrow shouldered, broad hipped and short legged. it is only the sexual drive that draws men to them.

I think men are just much more physically attractive than women altjough women have nicer faces, but look at the famous statue of David, where is the famous female equivalent statue?
