yes!
as long as
1. there are headphones
2. the headphones are kept in their ears
3. only the person with the headphones can hear the music
4. no one can listen to the music while there is instruction time
5. no one can listen to music during a test (because some jerk might recite the answers and put it on their ipod or whatever)
6. you can listen to it while you're doing classwork

class can be pretty boring when it's completley silent and you're doing your classwork. you needs something to keep you somewhat focused...

Absolutely not. WE go there to learn and it is paid by the government, so take advantage of this and leave out the music part until after school. The old adage, "There is a time and place for everything", I believe comes into play here.!!!

certainly not. School should be a quiet place, where you go to learn and educate yourself. We're all surrounded by too much noise anyway - we need somewhere where there's a bit of peace and quiet.

I think it should be allowed at break times and lunch times that's your time after all right :)
