I want to buy a silk shirt online, but I want to know what the difference between navy and sapphire is. The webpage doesn't show the colors, and although I know they are obviously similar, I just want to know what the difference in color is.

Of course you already knoe what navy is. Saphire is not as "strong" or as "harsh" as navy. If you normally look good in navy, I would go with navy, since siphire might not be strong enough. But if navy overpowers you, I would go with sapphire. Saphire is far from navy. Saphire lies somewhire between light teal and light blue. It's a nice, subtle, elegant color.

Saphire is a lighter blue than Navy.

i think that the difference is quite big because navy is a dark blue and saphire is purple hope that helps
