Is this show a little too much? It's like they don't need any other cops to solve the case. They question people without lawyers present. They all drive Hummers, they take the prisoners out the front door of the police station I mean it's a good show but some what unreal. They have a higher rate than Perry Mason at least he lost a case.

no csi miami is not real. i live in miami, florida. i do love watching the show because it is funny how one minute they are driving by the beach and a shot later they are in an area that normal is maybe 35 miles away but the show links it like it is the same area. no not everyone in miami drives a hummer. in fact the few people that do drive hummers in miami are local companies advertising their product, or only if you have in the rich areas of miami and north miami. and also the everglades is not just a hop and a skip from the main city.
the police station they used in the show is not even in miami. that is a open stage in california. they film some of the outside shots in miami and then edit in california. so it also makes you wonder how much of californina is not in the show already.
and also some of the dialogue used to describe streets and addresses that dont exist in this city.
perry mason was classic cop show. but this generations needs more glamor and style to get better rating. things have changed alot since those days.

No, it's not for real. It's a TV show. I live in Florida and my brother is a cop here in our city (not Miami). People that work in the crime scene units here do not carry guns, they do not interview anyone about anything, they do not "follow up on leads" or bust into peoples houses to arrest them or anything else that crime scene unit people do on that show. They collect evidence and take pictures. That's all. The police and the detectives do all the other stuff that the TV show depicts the crime scene people doing. And, crime scene people drive industrial vans or mini vans here, not Hummers.

i personnaly love csi shows... but out of all csi miami is my least fave. the cases are unreal and heratios extremly annoying he stands weird he says dumb things like "tell the medical examiners to perform an autopsy..." its dumb... delkos extremly hot n thats the only reason i watch it... neway the cases on that show would never happen in real life and theres no way a csi group would be that obvious... its extremly trivial compared to the others and its kinda like a begginers csi show... also they look at a spot of blood and say "I think i found where our vic was killed," wth... that spot of blood was probably a stubbed toe... its retarded really.

I stopped watching it after the first 2 episodes it was way too phony. The red head main guy always stares to his left or right when he's talking to someone, with his sunglasses on like he's suppose to be way too cool...
I can't stand anyone on it, the black chick that does the medical stuff is such a big phony too.
It's all very poor acting.

If you want real you should watch the show "The First 48". It take you through the first 48 hours of a murder investigation in Miami. Using real cops and real homicides.

Seriously, sometimes I watch it and get so annoyed. When they call whats his name "H". Also, the way "H" gives his "oh I am so cool looks" at people. Truly an annoying show and I try not to watch it.
