Hi there! At 18 weeks all I felt were flutters, it would come and go. There would be days when I felt nothing. Now that I'm 24 weeks I feel it all the time (but there are still lulls in the action, sleepy time! All that kicking mommy sure does wear a baby out!) Also...my partner didn't feel the kicks until I was just about 24 weeks pregnant, so it does take some time. They seem to get stronger with each passing day - in fact, it woke me up this morning!
Congrats and have fun with your pregnancy!

Well i guess it just depends. I didn't even start to feel my baby move up until i was 21 weeks! Now i am almost 23 weeks and i can feel him moving pretty often. Sometimes i do get scared though cause i don't get a peep out of him for hours at aa time. Give it some time the baby is growing bigger and the bones are getting stronger. Soon you'll be askin him/her to please stop!!! CONGRATS

I am currently 19 weeks along, and all I feel still are flutters. Some days are more frequently than others. You will not start feeling actual kicks until a few more weeks. Don't worry, what you are feeling is totally normal! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!

When you start feeling your baby move it does not move all day. Its once every so often through the day. when you get a little farther along you will find that the baby will move a lot more and harder. When you get to the end of your pregnancy the baby will move less due to that they have no more room to move around.

Babies move alot some days and a little on some days. They are moody just like us. But you shold feel at least 10 movements a day. Dont be scared if you fee a little less than ten. If half day goes without you feeling any movements you should call your doctor. Take care of yourself

You normally don't feel it really good until after 20 weeks. At this point you may be feeling fluttering, but after 20 weeks, it'll begin to feel more like something inside you besides gas!

It just depends. Some babies move all the time others, none at all. I would say though at 4 1/2 months , you should feel at least 10 movements in an hour. If you are that worried though, try and call your doctor, and see if you can speak to a nurse. Sometimes, you can call the OB/GYN unit in an hospital, and they definitely can tell how much movement you should be feeling. Good Luck, Mom of Seven
