I have never had a dream where I have felt scared nor have I ever woken from a dream feeling scared or anxious. Some of my dreams have included monsters, aliens, once I was about to be executed (for something my brother did - I was pissed off at him for that), I have been in burning buildings etc - but at no time did I ever feel scared. But every one else I know has had at least one nightmare. Is there anyone else out there who dreams like me??

im a manic depressant and for the last year have had dreams of gore, death, doom, persecution, fire and brimstone, demons, monsters, fights to the death, the complete works, nearly every single night. Im so used to it that its become the norm and only bothers me for about ten minutes on waking, then i just think f**k it. I actually enjoy the dreams where im fighting for my life and win as it elevates my self esteem the next day.

i always remebr having a dream when i was about 4 (now 24) of been in a laundrette with my mum putting these awful brown 80's curtains in the washing machine and four little brown monsters came in and tried pinching them. I don't remeber been scared but my mum saif i woke up screaming. I still remember that dream like i dreamt it yesterday!!!!

Yes, same thing happens to me. I have some horrible dreams but I don't wake up frightened its probably just my unconscious mind working through issues.
