why do people go sport hunting?

Like anything else,greedy bastardsss.I do hunt but not for head or horns,i dont bring no 4 wheeler,and i dont sit around being selective.Been butchering my own kill since i was 14,im 41 now.I walk out my back door and go into woods,pretty lucky.I have 2 freezers full of venison,i give it away.Everyone today has lost touch with reality.

because some people find that their niche is in sport hunting; it's what they're meant to do in their lifetime. sort of like a destiny. certain people are meant to do certain things; it doesnt matter if that thing is good or bad.

Personally, I do not like hunting or guns, but my husband really enjoys it. What makes him go? The commradarie of being with his brothers, and the solitude of the woods, the victory of a trophy.

i go hunting to kill things and eat them.... is there another reason?.... i particularly like bear, ...tastes like sweet beef....of course elk is always great....nothing like being in a cabin in the middle of nowhere, eating well-prepared game around toasty fire, some good whiskey and good friends.... wine's okay also... red, with rare steak and potatoes, just simple fare.....
