The interview at wal-mart is easy. Just be your self and answer truthfully. Well unless your self is crazy and like to shoplift, then LIE. Say lots of stuff about taking care of the Customer, organization and getting along with others. Wear slacks and a nice shirt... No jeans, they don't most of the employees to wear then to work, so don't wear them to the interview. They might also ask you questions about resolving conflict. If you can, relate stories with past experience in them. Don't ask about pay or benefits unless prompted, just makes you look greedy. I don't know about Target, but their criteria should be similar.

When it comes to wal-mart they usually print out the questionaire that you took on the kiosk and ask about ones you might have missed. Or some pointed questions that is on their interviewers sheet. Other than that wear business casual clothing, no open toed shoes (you may be working near pallets, you don't want crushed toes), nothing too revealing, and no obscene words or gestures on your clothing.

I believe like most company's they will want to know what experience you have had dealing with the public. They will want to know what lead you to apply for this particular job and what qualification you feel you have that this job is right for you. If you had other jobs they may ask did you quit this job if so may ask reason. They may also ask what salary you are looking for and what you feel you may learn from having a job at Walmart.

Have you ever taken anything without permission at anytime.
It's kind of a trick question because you're not sure if they mean steal or borrow something like a pen from someone without there knowledge.
