The Americans were greatly responsible what proved to be Hitler's biggest loss, the Eastern Front. Without American supplies and materiel, Germany would have taken Stalingrad and Moscow and with their fall, Russia. The support America provided Russia under the Lend Lease Act well before becoming fully involved in 1941 was the telling factor in Germany's failures in the east.
If it had been left up to the European powers, we'd all be goose-stepping to work these days.

You mean the allies would have won anyway? Really?
Even if England could've eventually defeated Hitler in the west and dislodged him from France (huge if) , who would've finished off Japan? Belgium?
And it wasn't just "hardware" but men. A huge invasion force was needed to displace the Germans from Europe.
But of course the entire thing was a joint effort. The Russians stopped Hitler and destroyed his army in the east, the Brits basically fought him all alone in the west for the first two years of the war.
So while the Americans obviously didn't do it all alone, I really wouldn't want to roll the dice and find out what would've happened if we didn't get involved.

I don't know -but why can't you write in proper English?
Shall I rephrase your question for you?
Why do the American think they stopped Hitler?
The Allies would have won anyway
or the Axis wouldn't have won anyway...
-they - the Americans - just speeded up the process with their support/strength?

As previously mentioned, the US didn't stop Hitler single-handedly. I'm not sure that was the main reason the US entered the war. The argument could be made that the US did in fact stop Stalin. I'm a history teacher and have interviewed several people from the former Warsaw Pact and can tell you they all indicated they would have been better off had they lived in the west. Interestingly, they also credit the US for pressuring the Soviet Union into collapse that resulted in their freedom.

The Axis would have won anyway? Germany, Japan and Italy made up the Axis. The Allies were the US, UK, France, etc.
You're flat out wrong. The UK put up the good fight but they would have fallen eventually. The biggest mistake Hitler made was declaring war on the US after Pearl Harbor. If he didn't have to deal with the allied forces, predominately supplied by the US, he could have focused more of his attention on Russia.

The USA certainly contributed with manpower and hardware but it is generally accepted that the Russians paid the 'butcher's bill' in terms of stopping Hitler's army.
Perhaps as another answerer has responded, Hitler did it to himself by invading the Sovirt Union - against the best advice of his generals. He went and made the same mistake that Napoleon made 120 years earlier.

I think the US had a big part in stopping Hitler. Great Britain was going down for the third time when we got in it, that much is too well documented. Personally I think Russia and the US are both to be thanked for stopping Hitler. That is what allies do.

Wow. By looking at your question I would venture to say you have never picked up a history book.
1) America funded the UK for the entire war- Americas planes, tanks, ships, bombs, and guns were provided to the UK - without which Britain would have fallen in a matter of months.
2) America fought on 2 ( THAT'S RIGHT 2!!!) fronts and WON!!.
3) America also was responsible for most of the fighting in Italy and all of AFRICA!!!
4) ETC ETC ETC ET CET CTEC
5) and finally...WE REBUILT THE ENTIRE CONTINENT OF EUROPE AFTER WE WERE DONE WINNING..
Go crawl back under your rock before we invade your country...YOU little *****
