Your team is pretty solid. Some things to look for are:

You need more power. After Ortiz, you've got 2 players that might hit 20 HRs. Look in the waiver wire for some power. If you really like your team, you can wait a few weeks into the season to see how your team does.

You have enough speed. Roberts, Jeter, Abreu, Hunter all run better than average. Get rid of Dave Roberts and get some power.

Your SPs are pretty good but I'd use the Capps spot for another SP. Saves can come from anywhere. I bet you can drop capps and pick him up again later in the year.

Good luck

Couple of things:

1) Liriano isn't playing at all this year due to injury. So that's a wasted spot.

2) I don't think Brian Roberts is going to be as good as he was in the early part of 2005, but that's alright given the overall lack of superb players at 2nd base.

3) I'm not familiar with a pitcher named 'Capps'. Might just be me, though.

Other than that though, I like the team.

Overall your team isn't too bad, but there are a few areas that could be improved...

1. Dave Roberts - the guy only steals bases and hits for no power at all... i would see if you could get a replacement for him because he's getting old too and his steals maybe limited

2. Liriano - he's out for the year and has no chance of playing this season.. drop him and pickup another starter

3. Capps - he's not the closer for PIT yet, Salomon Torres is... so look for another closer out there on the free agent wire

hope i helped... good luck!!!

well
c-johjima is solid
1B- ortiz...can it get any better?
2B-roberts top 5 second baseman with speed and good average
ss-Jeter is one of the best all around players
3B- ensberg still decent but on the decline
OF-abreu great 5 player tool
OF- hunter coming off a 30 homer season is very good
OF- roberts...your only reall speed threat

Sp- oswalt....one of the best
Sp-verlander again young and shold be better than last year
RP-izzy is slowly on the decline but will bag you a bunch of saves if remains healthy
RP-Jenks dont worrk bout his 4.00 era he wil be fine and get 30-40 saves
P- Lowe is a good pitcher but not great statistically
P-liriano is out for the year so go for a clay hensley or adam wainwright
P-capps probably wont close because of saloman torres so go with dan wheeler for extra closer because lidge will be beneched

It'll be better if you dump Liriano and replace him with someone who will play this year.
