For an English Master's program, is Purdue University better, or University of Florida?

My sister's been offered to do a Master's in English by both Purdue University and University of Florida? Which one is better, has a better reputation, better prospects for doing a PhD?

Purdue.

The University of Florida is having a lot of problems right now with their College of Liberal Arts and Sciences which includes their English department.
