If you have a uniform shop where you are, ask for an "intern's coat" because med students all wear the short lab coat, & don't get the long, "doctor's" lab coat until the graduate and start their residency.
Same thing for Internet search: Intern's coat
Try Amazon.com or Overstock.com, they both have uniform sections in clothing.
