I did some spring cleaning the other day and I packed 8 large garbage bags full of clothes, shoes, and bags. Some of the clothes still have tags on them. I can't fit them anymore, or just don't want and it's at least $10,000.00 worth of stuff. I normally give it to charity but I was thinking if I should sell it or something. It's so much $$$ to give away. Can I get some advice please?

Try some high end resale shops (like Plato's Closet) that will pay you top dollar for new or like new clothing, shoes and accessories. Be aware that many places like these are very picky and choose only the most current fashions and styles and the items must be new or in mint condition. The good part is that they can usually pay you on the spot. As for anything else, try a shelter for battered women, they always need donations for women just starting out or going back in to the work force.

I think that you should give the clothes away and take this instance as a lesson for when you go shopping next. Only buy clothes you know you are going to wear and you will not end up in this situation. You could also give the clothes to your friends as gifts, especially if they still have the tags on them.
