Were you really violated or do you just need the money. Don't hurt a doctor's career if you were not wronged- that's plain wrong. Be absolutely sure before you move on. If you are telling the truth, the first stop would be your insurance company to report that person and to ask them for advice.

I had some malpractice done by my dentist and no lawyer would touch it because they said I could sue for 20,000 but end up paying 20,000 in fees but that's after two fillings fell out, my tooth needed a root canal, and severe gum infection while I have her john handcock pledging that everything would be good. That is cut and dry case yet no one would take it.

Its not as easy as it looks and I would only persue this if you have a solid case. The next step would be to call your cities legal office. The only other way would be to hire a lawyer. GL

Lawyers want to get paid just like anyone else. Expect to bring a check for $5-20k if you want a lawyer to take on tort for you. Then, if there is anything left over, you'll get a check from the law firm. Pro Bono might get a lawyer, but their time is truly limited.

You get what you pay for.

Make sure you have a case first.

Read their Disclosure Statement re: "Privacy", which you should have signed at some point,.. Call the office to get a copy.

No need for YOU to be intimidated by Attorneys if YOU are not the Defendant.

This sounds fishy, but good luck if you were TRULY wronged.
