No, he isn't smart enough to figure out such a complex attack. I wouldn't put it past him to hire Osama Bin Laden to do it though.

NO!!

I do not believe that President Bush is responsible. The people who planned the attack and hijacked those planes are responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks.

Is former President Clinton responsible for the World Trade Center attack in 1993? Or the USS Cole bombing? No!! The people who attacked them are responsible. (All btw planned by Osama's people)

Yes, President Bush could have handled it better, but hindsight is 20/20, right?

No it was not presdent Bush who is responsible for Sept 11 attacks, it was the earlier presidents of USA including Bill Clington who were resposible for this attacked. They feeded the Snake which eventually bite them.

No. People vastly overestimate the power of the President. While I am a political conservative and a Bush supporter, I think it is fair to question his leadership throughout all of this. But responsible for the attacks? Are you kidding me? No one person can be held responsible for all of that. I can't stand Bill Clinton, but in fairness, had this happened on his watch, I wouldn't have held Clinton personally responsible either.

Although I loathe this man for lying to America to become the "war president"
I don't think he had anything to do with the attack

Now, regarding the matter of wrongfully attacking Iraq
I believe we all know that happened

He's responsible for not doing a better job of trying to stop it. Read the bipartisan 9/11 Commission Report, and you'll understand why he could have stopped it.

Some Republicans hold Clinton responsible for the WTC bombing that happened less than 45 days after he took office, and there was an immediate investigation that resulted in trial for the people involved.

But, it makes better sense to me to hold Bush responsible for something that happened almost 8 months after he took office and for which there was plenty of advanced warning as early as July!
