Had this done last week it did nothing. Had it done Monday afternoon at 40 weeks and still nothing. Is there anything to help this work? How many of you have had this done and it actually worked? How long after did it work and what was your first sign?

Try having sex, I heard that will bring on labor this late in the game, or have a salad with balsamic vinegar I heard that works also? Try them both and maybe by tomorrow you'll be in labor.

It did work with one of mine. I was 38 weeks along, I had just left the doctors office and went to the Mall to walk around trying to get things started. After perhaps an hour, the contractions started coming. I walked for awhile longer and when I finally sat down, the contactions got worse.
However, this didn't work with my last baby and I did the same thing.
I know how hard it is to hear when you're so ready to get your baby out and be able to bend over again, but your baby WILL come in time. I just hope you don't have to be induced.

They did it to me also and nothing happen. I thought it was supposed to send me into labor but it just happen on its own. Sorry I didn't have better news....don't worry if your 40 weeks it won't be long!!

i am afraid it either does or doesnt work,if your body doesnt produce that certain hormone that starts labor then nothing will start you except induction

for some people it works, some people it just doesnt.... just go walk walk walk!
