Only if it's a portfolio. A book of snapshots though? No, I would say that's a tad narcissistic, and not very common.

I have one from high school full of my portfolio pics from when I was modeling and doing pageants, and a lot of my friends from the pageant have some also. I dont think it is unusual.

maybe 'she' don't have any friends to take photos with, and if she is a very social girl she may just be too conceited.
